Jesus. Anybody that says they are “involuntarily celibate” is lying. There’s no such thing. The woman just refuses to get laid outside her marriage. Her her man can’t/won’t fulfill her sexual needs, it’s his DUTY to freely allow her to get that satisfaction elsewhere. If he won’t, it’s her bad choice to stay with such a selfish man. If he will allow her, but she won’t, then she’s choosing to be celibate.
Her situation sucks, but in the end, she is *choosing* to be celibate.
Once one partner refuses giving their partner intimacy, they were the first to break the covenant of sexual fidelity in their marriage. I would not judge a person who went outside of their marriage if their partner refused them. It’s the spouses duty to give their partner love or risk them finding it somewhere else. For a person to deny fulfilling that need and deny them receiving else wehere is a sign of a childish, selfish brat. I say if you aren’t getting intimacy at home, finding a lover is fair game.
